
NASA’s Artemis II mission took off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Wednesday evening starting a 10-day journey to and around the Moon. The four-member mission – 3 Americans and a Canadian, is the first manned mission since December 1972 when the National Aeronautics and Space Administration sent its three-member Apollo 11 team to the Moon.
